My life partner, Margaret and I celebrated a new stage in her career path with a lovely house in Santa Barbara for 10 days. Prior to arriving I interviewed a number of private chefs for a special evening I was planning. James was easy to deal with, reasonable, and had the same passion for great healthy food as I did.
 We exchanged multiple menus choices until the perfect 5 course meal was agreed to.
Meal prep began with James going to farmer's market to get the freshest ingredients. He came over, prepped, served us outside, and left everything spotless.
The food was exquisite, plated as well as a 3 star Michelin restaurant. We couldn't have enjoyed the evening any more than we did.
I will definitely use James again next year.
